LapinTrip is a travel itinerary planner for people who plan trips in spreadsheets and lose track of the numbers. It keeps the schedule and the budget in one place: build each day as a list of timed activities, tag every item with a category, and watch planned versus actual spending update as you go.

Challenge
Most itinerary apps treat planning and budgeting as two separate problems, so travellers end up maintaining a schedule in one app and a spreadsheet of costs in another. Currency conversion makes it worse: a single trip can involve three currencies, and a price is only meaningful once it is expressed in the currency the traveller actually budgets in.
Solution
LapinTrip stores every itinerary item with both a planned cost and an actual cost in the trip's base currency, and converts the rest on the fly. Costs roll up automatically from item to day to whole trip, and a category summary shows where the money is actually going.
Because a trip is often planned months before it happens, the whole app is offline-tolerant and installable, so the plan is still there at the airport with no signal.
