GAGASAN was developed to bridge the gap between academic brilliance and industrial recognition at Politeknik Negeri Jakarta. Every year, students and lecturers produce high-value projects, yet these innovations often remain hidden within separate departments.
GAGASAN acts as a dedicated central hub that securely stores and hosts comprehensive project documentations. By establishing a unified digital storefront, the platform eliminates structural silos and allows verified external industrial partners (Mitra) to discover, evaluate, and connect with academic creators, paving the way for real-world collaboration and commercialization.

Building an authoritative repository that meets both academic standards and industrial expectations involved several critical challenges:
The Visibility Gap: The absence of a centralized system made it difficult for external enterprises to discover or reach out to potentially groundbreaking institutional projects.
Quality Assurance & Verification: Ensuring that only high-quality, fully realized documentations are published, preventing the repository from becoming cluttered with incomplete work.
Multi-Stakeholder Workflow: Designing an online curation system that smoothly coordinates review inputs from both academic lecturers and external industry professionals.

Centralized Innovation Hub: Provides an organized digital showcase focused entirely on project documentations, optimizing them for maximum reach and discoverability by external industries.
Integrated Curation System: Built an in-app verification workflow where submissions must pass a rigorous assessment process before they are officially published to the public feed.
Dual-Authority Review Dashboard: Connects verified lecturers and corporate partners inside a unified system, letting them cross-evaluate project viability and documentation quality seamlessly.
Gasant AI Virtual Assistant: An intelligent, in-app AI assistant powered by RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). Gasant allows users and corporate partners to query the project database using natural language—such as asking for "most-liked student innovations"—and immediately receive accurate, context-aware project recommendations.

- Backend & API Architecture: Powered by Laravel to establish a secure, scalable ecosystem. This architecture manages complex business processes, implements granular role-based access control, and serves optimized API payloads seamlessly.
- Responsive Frontend Layout: Styled with Tailwind CSS to build a modern, high-performance, and pixel-perfect visual layout that maintains absolute fluidity across both desktop monitors and mobile web screens.
- Dual-Review Workstation: Engineered an advanced curation dashboard utilizing strict state management logic, allowing authenticated reviewers to leave feedback, grade, and approve documentations.
- AI-Driven Knowledge Retrieval (RAG Pipeline): Engineered Gasant, an AI assistant integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipeline. It translates natural language questions into database contexts, instantly fetching filtered insights like top-liked works or specialized tech-stack categories.
- Structured Data Systems: Managed through optimized PostgreSQL database architectures to accurately structure user privileges, store metadata logs, and execute instant query rendering for public project feeds.
